Next to the people involved this is the next important ingredient to a successful evening. The right sound and lighting is vital to ensuring the correct atmosphere and quality of entertainment. Here at Barclay's Beats we constantly review our equipment to ensure it meets the needs of today's events and we have invested heavily over recent years to ensure we are versatile enough to deal with parties and events of all sizes.

PA Equipment:

Bose 802 III Series speakers, Bose MB4 bass speakers, Bose L1® System, Bose Panaray controllers, Crown XS & XLS series amplifiers, Spirit Soundcraft Powerstation, Spirit FX8 mixing desk, Sienhiesser radio microphones and headphones, Sure SM58 microphones, Sure SM57 Beta Microphones

Disco Equipment & Lighting:

Pioneer DJM700 mixers, Pioneer CDJ100s CD players, MacBook Pro laptops running MegaSeg professional DJ software, RME fireface 800 audio interfaces, Focusrite Saffire 6 audio interfaces, Martin Ego lighting effects, PR Pilot 150 moving head lights, Martin DMX lighting controller.

The above lists will give you an idea of some of the equipment available to us although we have much more at our disposal. If you would like to request an equipment specification for your event please let us know at the enquiry stage of your booking so we can check availability. The amount of PA and lighting equipment varies depending largely on the number of people attending, the size of the venue and the type of event. Lately we have been using less lighting effects at weddings and family parties and more at graduation balls and Christmas parties. The lighting we use is usually understated to make sure we don't annoy or upset anyone with too many flashing lights or strobe effects although this depends on the nature of the event.

All of our equipment is serviced regularly and PAT tested annually. We carry spare pieces of vital equipment to every event in case of any problems on site.
