Help! (The Beatles 1965)
Relax, help is at hand. Unfortunately the words ‘mobile disco’ can conjure up thoughts of dodgy 70s DJs or a Peter Kay TV commercial. The good news is mobile discos have come a long way in recent years thanks to better equipment and increased competition. This competition means more choice for the consumer which only adds to the confusion when you are looking to book one for the first time. For this very reason we have put together a ‘how to book a mobile disco’ guide which gives you some ammo when phoning round disco suppliers. This guide is completely free of charge and will give you all the information you should need. So, when the time comes for you to book a disco for your wedding, corporate event, birthday party or children’s party you know where to come for no obligation advice.
So what makes Barclay’s Beats so special?
With over 10 years experience comes a knowledge that we can only get better with every event, that is because there is always something new to learn. We are constantly reviewing our service seeking customer feedback and employing forward thinking industry initiatives. We are a member of the National Association Of Disc Jockeys and hold a current ProDub licence which is required to play digital music at public events via laptops or iPods. We are covered by full public liability insurance, AA breakdown cover and all of our equipment is PAT tested on an annual basis. We also carry spare pieces of vital equipment to every event such as amplifiers, mixers and speakers.
Our equipment is constantly updated and we use only the best available from companies such as Bose and Pioneer. We have recently been investing in some tasty new LED lighting effects to complement our spell binding moving head light show which we use at larger events such as The Glasgow Science Centre.
Our DJs are all tried and tested with all types of events and are given a full brief based on what you tell us prior to the event date. As well as a huge music library our DJs also carry some specialist music such as Scottish country dance tunes and are happy to call the main ceilidh dances if required. You can also have as much or as little input into your playlist and running order as you wish.
As weddings are by far the largest part of our business we have produced a downloadable wedding brochure which covers everything you need to know and what we can offer to make sure your evening reception runs like a dream and your big day ends with a bang.
In summary we promise to:
Make the effort to find out what you are looking for and manage your expectations.
Make arrangements to meet you in person to discuss your requirements.
Send written confirmation of your booking.
Provide a professional service
Encourage your input on all aspects of event.
